Hip-Hop’s Renaissance man Zulu Gremlin aka King ZG debuts his new single “Hard Knock”. The hard knocking self-produced beat and lyrics tell the story of a hard knock b-boy from the school of hard knocks.
King ZG shares his appreciation for hip-hop culture and its 4 main elements: rhyming, breakdancing, graffiti writing, and DJing. He purposely kept the song short with only 2 verses and without melodic sing-song style; just real hip-hop bars over a Hard Knocking beat.
A world-traveling, award winning champion breakdancer and advocate/ambassador for Breakdancing in the Olympics, Zulu Gremlin releases music under the moniker “King ZG”. A member of the Zulu Nation, he devotes his time to teaching and training dancers all across the world. He is the head judge in many countries for Hip-Hop International. He lectures on hip-hop culture and history across the country at universities, schools, and organizations and has had some of his artifacts on loan in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Smithsonian. He continues to teach in Los Angeles when he’s not developing new TV programs, scoring films, and producing new music.
“Hard Knock” by King ZG is available digitally worldwide via VIP Records/Empire.
