- What is your Name? where you’re from and what first got you interested in the
entertainment industry? My name is Tiffany J and I have always wanted to be in
show business since I was a young child. I was born in NJ and grew up there and
in Minnesota.
- Who and/or what inspires you to create? Usually life experience propels me to
want to create; especially being in love and experiencing breakups. - How would you describe your sound? I’m not quite sure how I would describe my
sound. I’ve been told that my tone is similar to Toni Braxton at times but my
range is wide. - What is your creative process like? Most of the time I write best when I find an
instrumental that I love. Occasionally, I will get melodies in my head first but
usually I write best to music. - What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with? One of the artists that I wanted
to collaborate with is my brother, Sharod Starks. I’d also love to collaborate with
Chris Brown. - What is one message you would give to your supporters? One message I would
give my supporters is thank you for your support and never give up! - What is the most talent/skill you have that most people don’t know about? I
believe I’m a pretty good screenplay writer. I look forward to writing more films
and a sitcom in the future. - What would you be doing right now, if you weren’t doing music? If I was not doing
music I would still probably be working in the arts. I would either be working in
television as a director, probably as an actress, or as a casting director/talent
agent. - Who are some artists/people you admire and why? Some people that I admire
are people that are kind and that help others. Some of the artists that I admire
(have inspired me) are/were Michael Jackson, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston,
Prince, Lauryn Hill, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Sade.
- What is the best advice you’ve been given? Best advice that I have been given is
to treat people the way I like to be treated and to never stop learning. - If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be? I wish I could
change how cut throat the industry is. - What’s next for you, where would you like to see yourself in the next year? I see
myself with more of my music in television and in film, doing more hosting, being
