The Quest Chronicles: Friends With Benefits We all love to live life & have fun! As children, we dream of being married, having kids, a career & more. But then there comes a time in life when everything doesn’t always go as planned. This is when we readjust and re-plan. There comes a time where we accept life for what it is and just do us. Relationships are the desire but to occupy our time we may have a friend with benefits. Casually going on dates, hanging out, having fun, and lots of sex. This is great until someone catches feelings. Things start to get awkward and it messes up the dynamic.
Don’t get me wrong, there are a few friends with benefits situations that do end in a real relationship but in other cases, they may end once someone catches feelings. That wasn’t the plan in the beginning but it happens. This is why I encourage people to keep the line of communication open with your partner.

If it’s strictly friends with benefits; every few months check-in to see if you’re still on the same page. Once someone catches feelings, the dynamic changes, and not always for the best in the midst of just wanting to have fun. Do you, be safe but communicate enough so someone doesn’t get hurt.
