Sports and music intersect at just about every intersection and it’s no surprise that professional athletes want to be musicians and musicians want to be professional athletes. Paul Rello effortlessly walks that line. The pro-boxer and rapper is a New York native with a penchant for the pen.
Attempting to be elite in one category is hard enough especially when that sport requires you to get punched in the face, but Mr. Rello is doing just that as he ascends the ranks in his fighting career as well as crafting timely, thoughtful lyrics with his latest musical release, Glory. Taking on bluesy guitars and a familiar vocal sample, Paul dives deep into what drives him to success both in and out of the ring.
