Early Rising Star

Discovered talent at 3 by her daycare provider Mrs. Mary Moye, she had begun to train West with her vocals by practicing the song “People Get Ready’. West started touching people all over with her vocals. It really didn’t hit her until she was 18 that she wanted to lead a career in singing. Her support system has always been a strong factor in her choice to sing as a career.

West began singing at an early age in the choir, local churches, community events, talent shows, schools, and other events that brought the people together. Through her performance, West loves to spread love through her positivity and uplifting spirit. She loves to use her voice to uplift the community. West reached #1 on the Blues Music Billboard charts with her song “Work It” in May of 2023.

Released in 2018, West’s first single “Keep Pushing”. This song inspired her through her own personal experience with depression which lead to the need to want to help others fight through their trials and tribulations. Releasing other music like “Stop Looking”, “You Betta Go”, “It’s the Weekend”, “Reach”, “Work It”, “Shake It Baby”, “The Mac”, “This Feeling”, “Meet Me at the Trailride”, and “Cowgirl Ride”, West continues to blow our minds.

Wallstreet Wes

WHO IS WALLSTREET WES?

Wesley Robinson better known as WallStreet Wes, is the ultimate success story. Spending time in prison can shape people in many different ways. For Wes, prison was the catalyst he needed to change his life for the best. Using his time behind bars to learn a new skill. Wes has exceeded all expectations of what a former inmate can become.

Poetry isn’t just an art form. It also serves as a release for those who choose to create. WallStreet Wes found poetry during his incarceration. Using the gift of written language to not only express himself but also as a tool to aid his mental health.

Realizing the power of poetry, Wes began teaching other inmates the skill as well. In hopes of improving their overall understanding of themselves and as a tool to aid in their mental health journeys. It was during this time that Wes was deemed the Poets Laureate of the prison system. A position he still proudly holds to this day.
