PNB Rock Shot At A Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles

Rapper PnB Rock was shot at a Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant in Los Angeles while dining with his girlfriend on Monday (Sep. 12.)

Law enforcement got a call to the Inglewood location of the restaurant at 1:23 pm for a shooting victim, per TMZ. The outlet obtained video footage of the incident that showed the “Fendi” rapper “fighting for his life.” Restaurant staff was reportedly seen panicking as the rapper lay on the floor. In the video, PnB Rock is still seen moving. His current condition is unknown. Prior to the shooting, the Philly native’s girlfriend Steph posted a photo of their meal on her social media. The shooter is still unknown, but witnesses say that they were trying to rob someone in the restaurant. TMZ also noted that PnB posted a video of himself wearing multiple chains prior.

DJ Akademiks took to Twitter to share a statement on the incident after interviewing the rapper a week ago. “Wow.. this PNB Rock situation crazy.. i just did a interview with him a week ago where he detailed how someone tried to rob him in LA recently while he was out with his girlfriend and daughter. Now.. this.. smh. Pray for PNB Rock,” he wrote.

Vevo, the world’s leading music video network, today released the complete list for its highly-anticipated Vevo DSCVR “Artists to Watch” 2022 campaign.

On November 1, Vevo’s DSCVR ATW will showcase engaging, high-quality live performance videos from the class of 2022. There will be two unique performances from each artist shot exclusively for Vevo.
Born out of Vevo’s taste-maker series and brand DSCVR(DSCVR Artists To Watch) is now in its 8th year. The list consists of 21 global artists whom Vevo has tipped to break through to the mainstream.

With over 500 submissions, Vevo’s DSCVR ATW program is one of the most highly anticipated and competitive lists to appear on, as the artists and bands that make it receive critical exposure and promotion that help propel their careers. Artists & bands will be marketed and featured in Vevo’s expert music video programming via playlists and editorial features across their network. This includes YouTube, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, and Apple TV.

VEVO IS ALL ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Vevo has a history of supporting and introducing emerging artists to new global audiences. DSCVR ATW champions emerging artists through live performance content. The list includes big names such as Billie Eilish, Pop Smoke, Sam Smith, EarthGang, Guaynaa, Lewis Capaldi, Arlo Parks, Maggie Rogers & James Bay.
