Diddy Back in the Spotlight: Terrence Howard’s Bold Claims

In the ever-evolving world of celebrity news, few stories have captured the public’s eye quite like the recent revelation involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and actor Terrence Howard. The iconic music mogul has found himself back in the headlines, but this time, it’s for a rather unexpected reason. In a startling interview, Howard alleged that Diddy made unwanted advances towards him, a claim that has ignited conversations across social media and entertainment outlets.

Terrence Howard, the acclaimed actor known for his roles in films like “Hustle & Flow” and the television series “Empire,” isn’t known for shying away from controversial topics. During a recent appearance, he addressed his so-called “Mayne-Hood,” emphasizing his strong identity and refusal to conform to societal pressures. With a bold stance, Howard declared, “I don’t bend over in that way,” unequivocally asserting his boundaries and challenging the notion of masculinity in Hollywood.

Terrence Howard delved into several personal and professional aspects of his life in this conversation, holding nothing back, addressing the complexities of his identity and experiences within Hollywood. Howard reflected on his sense of self and the notion of masculinity. He emphasized the importance of being true to oneself and standing firm in one’s identity, particularly in an industry that often imposes certain stereotypes and expectations and he shared personal anecdotes that illustrated his experiences in Hollywood. He articulated the challenges faced by men in the industry concerning sexual advances and the pressure to conform to unrealistic standards. Overall, Terrence Howard’s interview serves as a significant commentary on issues of power, consent, and personal autonomy, reflecting a shift in how conversations surrounding these topics are approached in the modern entertainment landscape.

Terrence Howard

While the claims have raised eyebrows, they also highlight the complexities of relationships within the entertainment industry. Diddy, a figure larger than life, has been a central player in hip-hop for decades. His history of public relationships and rumored romantic entanglements has made him a topic of both admiration and scrutiny. This latest episode opens up a discourse about consent, boundaries, and the often blurry lines between personal and professional relationships in a high-pressure environment.

Fans and followers of both celebrities have taken to social media to express their reactions. Many are surprised by Howard’s candidness, while others are curious about Diddy’s perspective on the situation. As the internet buzzes with opinions, the entertainment community is once again under a microscope, examining the dynamics of power and influence.

As this story unfolds, it serves as a reminder of the importance of open dialogues about respect and boundaries, especially in a world where celebrity culture can often overshadow personal integrity. Whether or not there’s more to this narrative remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: Diddy’s return to the headlines is sparking conversations that extend beyond the typical gossip.

In a landscape where news moves fast, both Terrence Howard and Diddy have undoubtedly made their mark once again, reminding us that celebrity lives are never devoid of drama, intrigue, and the occasional shocker. As fans await further developments, this incident has already sparked a deeper conversation about personal autonomy and the evolving nature of relationships in the public eye.

Straight Official Sit Downs: Terisa Griffin

Terisa Griffin

TERISA GRIFFIN takes our hot seat for the new years edition of Straight Official Sit Downs. The singer and songwriter is renowned for her performance on NBC’s The Voice. @klassikceo served up the questions and the vibe was indeed dope! Check out their one-on-one down below and click here to discover more emerging artists.

Q&A WITH TERISA GRIFFIN

What is your name? Tell us where you’re from and what interested you about the entertainment industry?

Terisa Griffin, From Monroe Louisiana but I’ve lived in Chicago for most of my professional career. I’ve always loved being creative so my thought is if this is truly what you love then it should be what takes care of you if you test it as a business.

Who and/or what inspires you to create?

Love inspires me to create music as well as my circumstances in life and love. My stage One Woman Shows are inspired by the the women in music that I hold in the highest esteem. Those women paved the way for me to do what I do.

How would you describe your sound?

My sound is a fusion of soul and a compliment of what happens in R&B with real Instruments. I call it Naked Soul.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

What is your creative process like?

I love writing my lyrics on the walls and in journals that I carry in my purse. I love to drive and sing into my phone whatever melody pops into my head.

The track should play as if it’s a story. When I’ve given the album enough stories the project is complete in conception. Now the true work begins, creating a fluid sound that I can perform in stage with confidence.

What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with?

My dream moment would be with Lenny Kravitz, DeAngelo, Bruno Mars, Her, & Pharrell.

Terisa Griffin

If you try you haven’t failed because nothing beats a failure but a try! The outcome does not define you. You define you in your actions and your ways.

What is one message you would give to your supporters?

Thank you so much for supporting me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of the music in your life. I don’t take your love, time or hard earned dollars for granted so I’ll always give you the best that I have!

LET’S SHIFT GEARS

What is an unknown talent/skill you have that most people don’t know about?

I’m a good event planner and I love to decorate events!

What would you be doing right now, if you weren’t doing music?

God has allowed me to do what has brought me true joy. I’ve used my talents and he has multiplied them so I’m not afraid to work. I’ve worked hard to have joy in my life so music is my life and I think it’s healthy to not what if but always know what IS!

Who are some artists/people you admire and why?

I admired my Queen Aretha Franklin because she wasn’t afraid to be who she was! Soulful and talented in so many genres. She was unapologetically Aretha!

I admired my Queen Tina Turner, because she rose above what others thought of her and knew who she was! She inspired me to throw age out the door and just be who you are. She worked hard and made CHAMPAGNE out of Lemons!

I admired my King Luther Vandross for his work ethic and his ability to stand on the stage and control us with his voice not a lot of dancers! His VOICE WAS PERFECT and it blinded us to the industry’s thought of what was perfect! He was perfection personified!

Just to name a few!

Terisa Griffin

IN CONCLUSION

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

My Father told me Terisa just do your best and don’t worry about failure. If you try you haven’t failed because nothing beats a failure but a try! The outcome does not define you. You define you in your actions and your ways. Eventually you will get the outcome you want!  Enjoy the ride and be the best version of you!

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

These are three things I’d pray to change:

I would change that technology has changed the ability for the Artist to make money. I believe technology has gotten ahead of this industry.

I’d place more value on content and ability when it comes to Artist and not just marketing because our children are sponges …but I’m old school.

I’d love for Artist to understand the power we have and the influence. Influence is a big responsibility we have whether we ask for it or not so we have to be careful. Just don’t fall for everything just to get paid! We need our money but also need integrity

What’s next for you, where would you like to see yourself in the next year?

I’d love to be on several successful tours with my fans having a career like the people I have open for and or admire…like Frankie Beverly, The OJAYS, Charlie Wilson, Anita Baker,  and so many more!

For over two decades, the fleet dj’s has grown from a small crew to a proficient coalition with over 700 members and counting. since 2001, THE WORLDWIDE FLEET DJ’s has changed the lives of both its members and the entertainment industry they have thrived in.

These are the members. These are Their Stories. THESE ARE “THE FLEET FILES”

Name: DJ Swag 100

FLeet DJ Since: 2022

Location: PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA

Region: NORTHEAST REGION/PHILADELPHIA Fleet DJ’s

DJ Swag 100

DJ SWAG 100 is not only a multitalented member of The Worldwide Fleet DJs, but a cultivator of Hip-Hop culture. Since becoming a member of Fleet, Swag has kept his foot on the gas working to not only spotlight emerging artists but to rewrite the genre’s narrative. When I asked Swag what was the moment that convinced him to become a DJ, he spoke on pivotal moments in time. ” My journey into DJing began with major events in key venues in Philadelphia, where I also launched my digital radio station, (SWAG 100 FM) now known as 100.1 FM The Plug. A pivotal moment came when I met DJ Calvin from New Orleans Fleet, who introduced me to the Philadelphia chapter.”

Lee McIntosh made his decision to join Fleet based on his visions for his personal career. “I chose to join because I recognized it as a professional community that could shape and expand my network.” In doing so, Swag now runs both radio stations and podcast networks as a media communications specialist. Upon becoming a member, Swag spoke on the connections within the camp. “Once introduced to the Philly chapter I connected with DJ No Phrillz & DJ Pooh Gees who are familiar faces in the Philadelphia music scene.”

In addition to working the ones and twos, Swag also is nice with the pen. He works as a journalist for Straight Official Magazine, Floss Magazine & The Fleet Mag. Throughout his journey he spoke on several trends. “I’ve observed a concerning trend in mainstream Hip-Hop media that sensationalizes artists’ lifestyles and personal conflicts.” He continued, “This relentless scrutiny pushes artists into risky situations, leading to conflicts and legal troubles. I recognized the need for a shift to cleaner business practices and media responsibility which inspired me to establish my business.”

DJ Swag 100

For anyone looking to succeed in the industry, it’s crucial to understand the music business and network with the right people. Consistency is key.

DJ Swag 100 has made several moves in the coalition. I asked him to speak on some of his accomplishments. “Since joining Fleet I’ve become a national moderator and the manager of the Fleet Artists division. I was honored to receive the award for Fleet DJs Mixtape of the Year in 2023. Swag has also received nominations at this year’s Fleet DJs Music Conference for Rookie of the Year as well as Hustler of the Year.

When I asked Swag where he draws inspiration from to be successful he spoke about family. “My inspiration comes from my older cousin, James Holmes, known as Big Chef. He had a studio with a full 12” Technics DJ setup, and I often got in trouble for experimenting with his equipment. He was the one who rocked block parties in our neighborhood, and his passion for music deeply inspired me.”

Swag puts serious hours into his craft. While often spending 20-30 hours a week discovering new music and artists, he spoke on the overall experiences. “My best experience as a DJ has been conducting interviews and listening sessions with both indie and major artists. The highlight was interviewing Macy Gray—an experience I’ll cherish forever!”

DJ Swag 100

DJ Swag 100 currently has a project titled “Philly Drill” that is his 18th mixtape to date. Available on mixtapes.com and TopMixtapes.com he talked about his dedication to the mixtape scene. “I’m constantly working on new mixtapes, as my mixtape hosting is in high demand. In January 2025, several mixtapes hosted by me will drop, including “Brim Game 6,” featuring a lineup of NYC artists.”

As the Mixtape DJ of the Year I asked him who’s currently in his playlist. The variety of artists he mentioned was refreshing to hear. “Currently, I’m enjoying tracks from Skrilla, BigxThaPlug, Chow Lee, and a few other rising stars in the Sexy drill scene, as well as with Tyler the Creator. While I appreciate all genres, these artists currently dominate my playlist.

Every DJ has a story behind their moniker. When I asked him about the origin of his name he said “My DJ name comes from my LLC, SWAG 100. “Swag” represents character and how you carry yourself, while “100” signifies authenticity. This name serves as a constant reminder to stay true to myself.”

DJ Swag 100

My journey is rooted in a profound love for Hip-Hop culture and a commitment to changing its narrative.

DJ Swag 100 and I officially crossed paths back in 2020 during the Fleet DJs Music Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. It was dope to finally link up with one of my most productive members of the team. Producing most of our flyers and graphics for the publication he also conducted interviews for artists performing during the conference. One of my favorites is his one-on-one with Trece7ev which you can check out down below.

DJ Swag 100

I asked Swag about the best piece of advice he could give to aspiring artists & DJ’s. He hinted on consistency and knowledge saying, “For anyone looking to succeed in the industry, it’s crucial to understand the music business and network with the right people. Consistency is key—there will be setbacks and mistakes, but each experience helps you grow thicker skin. This entertainment business isn’t for everyone, but persistence often outweighs talent.”

I gave Swag the floor for his shout outs to close our interview. “I want to give a shoutout to some amazing DJs in the Fleet family, including DJ P Money NYC, DJ Baby G, and DJ Justin Tyme (Gray Gang), who have supported me since the beginning of my career with Fleet DJs. I also want to thank DJ Heavyweight Rasheed for his guidance in the radio business and DJ Gojabean for being a great brother and constant source of good vibes. It’s a privilege to work with so many legends and game-changers in Fleet DJs!
