Damoney & Tunchie24 are some incredible young stars from the city of Chicago. Talented is an understatement.

Damoney is 8yrs old, the younger brother. Tunchie24 is 11 years old and also a free spirit.  The duo brings out the best energy you ever saw in a kid. Tunchie24 he is the rapper of the group NFL shorties with his brother Damoney he is da hype man and known to be the turn-up kid. They are both guaranteed to be successful if they keep working hard and keep that energy.

The Father is also CEO of NFL Records Mac Rod has been working with a lot of known artists such as Dr. Big Chris whom he managed in the past but still has a partnership with. Also, the young rapper Cago Leek also from Chicago motivates the Duo with his skills and talents. You can’t help but love these kids!

They actually have music that can uplift our youth. As they Motivate through the song “BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE”.  Be on the lookout for new music coming Damoney & Tunchie24. NFL Records (NEVER FORGET LOYALTY) is the motto.

It means a lot to these kids. CEO/ Father is showing these kids it’s more than just rapping about money or the norm. It’s more about life and music for encouragement. City of Chicago has so much going on with violence, overall it is a pleasure to see positive kids doing positive Music. I will love to personally thank the Father/CEO for showing the kids the way. Music can change the world because it can change people, Tunchie24 did a remix on Lil Baby’s Instrumental “FreeStyle” you can see the star in him it comes natural, you can see the hunger and to hear the motivation that in his lyrics touch he soul.

Q&A WITH GNS SHY BLACK

DJ SPINS: So how did you come up with your stage name?

GNS SHY BLACK: My pops nick name was shy, So I just added to my nickname black. 

Q: Tell us where you’re from and what first got you interested in the entertainment industry? 

Brooklyn New York. Brownsville Glenmore Plaza to be exact and just being around the culture and the place that birthed Hip-Hop made me fall in love. It’s every where you hear music all day where I’m from.

Q: Who and/or what inspires you to create? 

My life definitely inspires me to make the music I make it’s real life music.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS 

Q: How would you describe your sound?

My sound is just unique. The way I flow to beats you’ll never know what sound you will get. It’s just different.

Q: What is your creative process like?

Where ever life takes me. I go with it and try to mix it in my music but I also go off the club vibe. I’m tryna make the females move. Create a vibe. 

Q: What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with?

Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Drake and Yo Gotti.

Q: If you could open a show for any artist who would it be?

Definitely Yo Gotti.

Q: What is one message you would give to your supporters?

I love all of y’all! Y’all really stayed down with me threw everything so this is our success. 

Q: What is the most useless talent you have?

My most useless talent would have to be basketball.

Q: What would you be doing right now if you weren’t doing music?

Music saved my life so only God knows. 

I really never admired rappers. I admired my big brothers. They had everything rappers talked about so I looked at them like that.

Q: What is some of the best advice you’ve been given?

Freedom is everything.

Q: If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

I would change how they scout artist and make sure they own their masters

 Q: You Dropped Your Latest Release Earlier this Year. Tell us about it.      

I dropped CNN for the club. I just wanted to actually push a song instead of dropping back to back ones. The fans liked it so I’m just pushing it until the door get kicked in! 

Q: What’s next for you? Where would you like to see yourself in the next year?

Right now I’m just putting in this foot work in to get my name out there & by next year I will be making a comfortable living off rap.

The Fleet DJs Music Conference is an event that for over a decade has been the official open invite from the entertainment industry. Hosted by The Worldwide Fleet DJs, it is one of the major events that kicks off the start of the summer. For the second year in a row the party takes place in Jacksonville, Florida. As the chief editor of Straight Official Magazine, I attended last year’s conference for the first time. I have made it a point not to miss another one!

WHO ARE THE FLEET DJ’S?

A coalition of over 600 and counting, Fleet is a makeup of DJs, industry tastemakers, producers, models, bloggers and artists. This dynamic group is the top DJ coalition in the world, producing mixtapes that feature both major and independent artists. Fleet is well documented for for not only changing the industry, but the members that make up their amazing team.

The Fleet DJs Music Conference provides opportunities to artists and business owners through networking experiences unlike any other. Some events include a celebrity basketball game, a Sneaker Ball and a Panel Day. All attendees can also meet members of Fleet DJ’s as well. They can also gain knowledge from radio program directors and record label executives who will be in the building to assist artists in getting both seen and heard.

Q&A WITH STRAIGHT OFFICIAL

How did you get started in music?
My father would play records and let me dig through the crates.

Who did you listen to growing Up?
I listened to Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, James Brown & Michael Jackson. He was my biggest influence. Rap music took over and I listened to Kool G Rap Rakim & KRS-One. I moved to Long Beach and listened to Snoop Dogg, The Dogg Pound, DJ Quik, NWA, Eazy-E and Tupac.

How would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard you?
I’m like Snoop Dogg Jay z Jeezy and Young Dolph all mixed together.

What is your new song Summa about?
It’s about paying homage to the city I grew up in and the city I was raised in (Compton & Long Beach). I wanted to pay homage to the greats that came before me. (Snoop and Dre).

What are your plans for the rest of 2022?
Well, honestly, it’s to continue to create records doing what I love to do which is rap. I want to create more influence and cut through some of this clutter by marketing and promoting myself.

What are something that people don’t know about you. Do you have any hidden talents?
Yeah, I cook very well. My street dudes can understand what I mean. I’m something like a professional chef.

Do you have any shout outs?
Yeah, I want to shout out my God most importantly. Without God I be nowhere. I want to shout out my family and fans. They’re my major support system. Y’all got me here. This one’s for you!!

SHAWN CONNOR is a multi-genre urban pop/rap artist from South Carolina making serious waves with his new album, “Champion”. The triumphant and epic-sounding 13-song solo album was released via BAC Monopoly. “Champion” features two hit singles Sonny Genovese & Ain’t Too Friendly.

South Carolina boasts a long list of artists born in the Palmetto State. The list includes musical stars like James Brown, Darius Rucker, Teddy Pendergrass, Young Jeezy, Toro y Moi, and more. Shawn is aiming to be the first to put his town on the map. Raised in Eutawville, South Carolina a small, peaceful town located on the banks of Lake Marion.  It was where he developed his love for music and his style.

Champion is Shawn Connor’s 7th release this year, including singles, albums, and a deluxe edition. Connor has been making music for 4 years. In that time he has released 4 albums and 9 mixtapes.

I started making music in 2018. It was all I wanted to do in life.

Trap Teezy (TMTeezy, Trap Money Teezy), is an American trap rapper and songwriter.  Known professionally as Tevin Satcher (March 23, 1994),he is from Central City, Anniston, Alabama.  His hometown’s culture has been a major influence on his rap style and delivery.  He is an original member of Anniston’s trap/rap group CDG.  Honing on his craft since the age of 16, he’s been featured on several tracks and live performances with fellow local trap artist and original Sanbox Entertainment (SBE) member, Alejandro Sosa (Dro Sosa).

Tevin began his career as an independent artist releasing his first song and video “I Love Money” at the age of 20.  In 2022 he signed a recording contract with Sanbox Entertainment.  He released his first self-titled EP Trap Teezy to rave reviews. Working with SBE, he recorded his blazing hot debut single “Osama” which drops on all streaming platforms May 28th, 2022.

Teezy is gearing up to make back-to-back single releases for the rest of 2022.  Trap Teezy’s music gives old school rap vibes from a new school trap perspective, which is becoming the traditional sound from the streets of Central City, Anniston.

[NEWS] Actor Ray Liotta Passes Away at 67

RAY LIOTTA has passed away. Confirming multiple news reports, the acclaimed actor passed while on location in the Dominican Republic. TMZ reports that while shooting a movie titled “Dangerous Waters” that he died in his sleep. Liotta was 67 years old.

Sources close to Liotta also claim that his fiancée was with him during the filming. There has been no reports of foul play nor any other suspicious accusations surrounding this story.

Ray’s Sketch of Life

Liotta was one of Hollywood’s hardest working stars. While known for several roles, his most memorable role was starring in “Goodfellas” alongside Robert De Niro & Joe Pesci as mobster Henry Hill. Another unforgettable performance was in the iconic film “Field of Dreams” and his portrayal of Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Liotta had countless films under his belt including “Cop Land”, “Corrina Corinna” and “Blow” where he played alongside Johnny Depp as Fred Jung, the father to Depp’s character George Jung. It was this role that was a personal favorite of mine. The heart-wrenching scene produced one of the film’s most memorable quotes.

Ray was a devoted father and husband. He most recently celebrated his engagement to Jacy Nittolo via social media. Liotta leaves her and his daughter Karsen Liotta, who is also following in her father’s footsteps to mourn his loss.
