THE QUEST CHRONICLES: SPEAK UP! Is this mic on because I have something to say. In life we deal with people on the regular; experiencing a variety of emotions, attitudes, hearing different perspectives, etc. Things change when dealing with people on a personal level because communication is a struggle.

It still saddens me to this day that it’s so hard for people to communicate with their loved ones. If there is an issue; speak up! If there is tension; Speak Up. If you’re uncomfortable; SPEAK UP!

Yes, some make it hard to comfortably converse with them but is it worth you holding all that hurt and tension inside? Sometimes you have to stop sparing your own feelings to protect others. Easier said than done but you have to take the first step.

The Quest Chronicles: Do Your Work! If you haven’t noticed, this is the year of hustlers, go getters and grinders. Many people who used to live paycheck to paycheck have side hustles now. The Pandemic has opened their eyes. At the same time, for the ones that were going hard before are going even harder now. I see more people teaming up & collaborating for a better cause. Whether we like to admit it or not, we need each other to fully thrive in this world.

If you are still a team of one, that’s not a bad thing because as you patiently wait for the proper teammates, do like I did; outsource and hire staff members. Whatever you’re selling or trying to get out there, find the right people in their field to help you get it out to the masses. I’m talking about coming up with a business plan, hiring a graphic designer (such as myself) for promo flyers, business cards, media for coverage and do whatever you have to do to get the word out there. Sitting at home, doing nothing will not bring you clientele.

There’s a lot of people out there that can help you but you have to take the first step. Yes, it’s hard to know who to rely on but business is all about risk taking so are you ready to take that risk? Do your research, check reviews or have someone as amazing as myself, who is connected in the business to help point you in the right direction. There’s a lot of money out there for all of us so let’s get it together!

THE QUEST CHRONICLES: PARTNERSHIP There’s nothing like having the right partner by your side. Someone you can confide in, work with, build with & then some. Yes, many of us grind and handle business on our own but in most cases it’s like a lifted burden when you have someone on your team to help you. This goes for friendships, business-ships as well as intimate relationships.

If you are one of the lucky ones to find the right people to be in a partnership with, make sure you appreciate them. Keep the lines of communication open, stay respectful and be aware they’re here to help lift you up and not tear you down. With the right partner by your side, sky’s the limit! Let’s shine together baby!!
