There was a moment in time that I used to be excited when my phone rang. Now, I get nervous not knowing what the person may say.  

I know as we get older this tends to happen more often but with the climate of today’s society, it’s at a much more rapid pace than at any age. With all that being said, I just want to encourage you all to “Make It Right”. Life is shorter nowadays and the last thing you want is regrets. THE T-QUEST SHOW: PEARL PEARL: I’ve had the honor of learning about Atlanta native Pearl Pearl through a Dj colleague of mine. He said that Pearl Pearl was an artist that I needed to check out and have on The T-Quest Show. After talking to Pearl; my friend was not wrong. Even though Pearl was introduced to me as a recording artist; I realized he was more than that and respectfully I didn’t want to put him in a box. 


He’s a businessman, someone who works close to the community and a loving father. An unfortunate tragedy struck when his son passed away but he continues to push through to help other young men with his guidance and keeps the music pushing for his son who was also an artist.  Please take the time to listen to our incredible interview below. THE QUEST CHRONICLES: THE RIGHT ONE

There’s nothing like finding the right one. Society tried to put us on a timeline of when we’re supposed to date, when we’re supposed to be married & around what age we’re supposed to have children. Forget all of that; it’s too much pressure. Most people end up with someone just because & secretly unhappy.

When you’re patient & allow life to run its course, you never know who may enter your life. You may have to go through a few bad ones but once the right one comes along; that’s all that matters at that moment. Nothing like finally meeting that one who actually understands you. The one that makes you smile a smile you never smiled before. The one that brings peace to your life. 

Whenever this happens, cherish them, appreciate them but remember in order for this to truly work; this special treatment has to go both ways. Teamwork makes the dream work, especially in relationships.

Try not to get so attached that you forget you have your own business to attend to. Don’t lean too much on others because God forbid something happens on their end and you’re affected tremendously.  THE QUEST CHRONICLES: TRUST ISSUES I truly love what I do in this music industry as a Personality, Journalist, Anchor, and more. Blessed enough to have expanded my brand to work with numerous clients to help take themselves, their music, and their brands to the next level. I love to see their faces after seeing the work that I do from them from graphic designs to promotions. I’m in the field that I love, but it’s not easy. 

The beginning process tends to be rough at times because so many of them have been burnt and scammed by others. By the time they come around to professionals like myself; they sometimes are reluctant to work with me. They’re afraid to get played again so I have to convince them I’m not like the others. It’s kind of like relationships. If you’re dealing with someone who’s been hurt before; it may take time to gain their trust. If it’s the right person; it’ll be worth it and if it’s a client you don’t want to get away with; it’ll be worth it as well.

THE QUEST CHRONICLES: I’VE OUTGROWN YOU We can grow up together, go to school together, work together or even do a bid together but that doesn’t mean we’re meant to be in each other’s lives forever. Some people believe that since we spent all this time together; we’re stuck with each other. That’s not true. To a certain degree, you don’t owe anyone anything.

 As we grow older, we start to have different interests, we start to experience other things and now we’re not on the same wave link. Friends outgrew each other and that’s ok. You can be a go-getter and they can be a couch potato; that doesn’t mix so don’t try to make it just because of the years invested. 

In relationships, you’ve been stagnant & stale for years that you feel like you should continue to be together even though you’re unhappy. That’s unhealthy and not fair to your heart. Time to evaluate some things that may hurt feelings but will be better for you in the future. Thank me later.

THE QUEST CHRONICLES: INTIMIDATION As you grow older and wiser; life starts to change but if you pay attention it’s actually the people. As you elevate & increase, some may praise you while others will envy you. Your peers will be envious of you because they either feel you don’t deserve what’s happening to you or they wish they had your life, opportunities, and attention. 

It’s sad that people are intimidated instead of naturally connecting with you; which can actually help them grow. That’s insecurity within themselves that they’ll have to deal with. Just keep in mind that in most cases, this is a compliment and I encourage you to continue doing what you’re doing, work hard, and make the haters uncomfortable because it’s not your fault they’re intimated. Continue to shine and be great.

 As for the ones on the other side, please get your life together. We’re too old for this childish nonsense. Work on the inner you so the outer you can shine more.

THE QUEST CHRONICLES: SPEAK UP! Is this mic on because I have something to say. In life we deal with people on the regular; experiencing a variety of emotions, attitudes, hearing different perspectives, etc. Things change when dealing with people on a personal level because communication is a struggle.

It still saddens me to this day that it’s so hard for people to communicate with their loved ones. If there is an issue; speak up! If there is tension; Speak Up. If you’re uncomfortable; SPEAK UP!

Yes, some make it hard to comfortably converse with them but is it worth you holding all that hurt and tension inside? Sometimes you have to stop sparing your own feelings to protect others. Easier said than done but you have to take the first step.

The Quest Chronicles: Do Your Work! If you haven’t noticed, this is the year of hustlers, go getters and grinders. Many people who used to live paycheck to paycheck have side hustles now. The Pandemic has opened their eyes. At the same time, for the ones that were going hard before are going even harder now. I see more people teaming up & collaborating for a better cause. Whether we like to admit it or not, we need each other to fully thrive in this world.

If you are still a team of one, that’s not a bad thing because as you patiently wait for the proper teammates, do like I did; outsource and hire staff members. Whatever you’re selling or trying to get out there, find the right people in their field to help you get it out to the masses. I’m talking about coming up with a business plan, hiring a graphic designer (such as myself) for promo flyers, business cards, media for coverage and do whatever you have to do to get the word out there. Sitting at home, doing nothing will not bring you clientele.

There’s a lot of people out there that can help you but you have to take the first step. Yes, it’s hard to know who to rely on but business is all about risk taking so are you ready to take that risk? Do your research, check reviews or have someone as amazing as myself, who is connected in the business to help point you in the right direction. There’s a lot of money out there for all of us so let’s get it together!
