Cyphersick & Vic Spencer Drop “Realeast Alive” – A Ruthless Display of Bars, Wrestling, and Realness

“Realeast Alive” – Cyphersick & Vic Spencer Get in Their Bag Over a Funky 2wo Offishall Beat

I didn’t expect this one to hit me like it did. April’s been wild with new drops — everyone’s been dropping something. But this joint right here? “Realeast Alive” feels like it walked into the room, took the aux, and refused to give it back.

Produced by the always-consistent 2wo Offishall, this track brings together Cyphersick and Vic Spencer — two of the most unapologetically raw voices in the game right now. And together, they cook up something that’s smooth, gritty, and just straight-up dope.

The beat is slick — like West Coast sunshine sliding through Chicago streets. It’s got that hazy, synth-heavy vibe that makes you want to ride slow or light up and zone out. First time I played it, I instantly caught that Kush & OJ energy — not in a copycat way, but in the sense that it feels effortless, groovy, and full of flavor. 2wo Offishall laces it perfectly: mellow but dangerous, chill but still knocking.

Then Cyphersick and Vic Spencer hop on, and it’s like they’ve been waiting for a beat like this. What I love most is that they don’t try to outdo each other — they ride the wave, each doing their own thing while keeping the vibe cohesive. Cyphersick floats with that gritty smoothness he’s known for, while Vic brings the unpredictable charm and clever jabs only he can pull off.

Their energy is infectious — not forced, not trying too hard — just two seasoned artists having fun, talking slick, and showing you why they’re the ones to watch. The hook? Smooth as butter. The bars? Slick and calculated. And the video? Shot at a live wrestling event, which somehow fits perfectly with the attitude of the record: wild, real, and unapologetically raw.

This is more than just a track you play once and move on from. It lingers. It lives in that space between underground heat and mainstream potential — and it’s easily one of my favorite drops of the month, maybe the year so far.

If you’re into music that feels good, sounds expensive, and hits your soul and your speakers at the same time — run this up

TheDRSAlien Delivers With His Latest Anticipated Single

TheDRSAlien

Meet TheDRSAlien

Pennsylvania native and recording artist TheDRSAlien has embarked on a mission to produce artistic and creative music that resonates with his audience. His latest single, titled “Act Now,” marks a significant step in his rebranding journey. DJ Spins sat down with TheDRSAlien to gain insight into his creative process and explore the thoughts behind his artistry.

Q&A With TheDRSAlien

How did you come up with your stage name? Tell us where you’re from and what first got you interested in the entertainment industry?

How I got my stage name was just like everyone else, you know. I wanted something unique that’ll stand out. So just being the person that I am and always wanting and trying to be different than everyone else. I thought to myself, what has those similarities that makes everyone their own person.

So I came up with “Alien,” but then that was just too bland. So I added the initials of my slogan (DRS), which stands for “Dreams Require Sacrifice.” Putting the two together I came up with “TheDRSAlien” and that’s stuck with me for as long as I could remember now.  I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY, but moved around a lot when I was young. I currently live in Temple, Pennsylvania.

What got me interested in the music industry was watching Usher as a youngin & just loving everything he was doing. From singing to dancing to acting and performing. I knew that I wanted to live that type of life and have that lifestyle because it looks fun and entertaining. It also makes people happy at the same time. Seeing the creativity of it all just sparked a huge interest for me. No matter what I won’t give up. For as long as it takes to get me their and I’m loving the process of my journey.

The Creative Process

Who and/or what inspires you to create?

I think what inspires me to create is the love for creating itself. It’s kinda like meditation in a way for me. To zone in and really listen and focus on what the beat is saying. Then catchin’ that crazy flow which is then what gets me hype!

If you got a crazy flow it doesn’t matter what you really saying. It’s gonna sound crazy when you record it, but then you know when the words start spilling out and hearing what your mind can create is a deep and awesome feeling for me.

I’ve had times where I wanted to give up but couldn’t because it just kept calling me back is what keeps me inspired to keep going is that the fact that I can’t get away from it even if I wanted to because it’s my soul speaking through your speakers at that point and my music makes people feel good, happy and energized with fun energy.

How would you describe your sound?

I would describe my sound to be fun, diverse, energizing, soulful, artistic, and overall great vibes to be able to play it 20-50 years from now and still have the same vibes like if it dropped yesterday.

What is your creative process like?

My creative process starts off by first rolling me some of that good stuff then going through finding the beat, catching the flow and just practicing that flow a few times before I start my writing process but first I usually start with the bridge/hook/chorus then write the verses.

Sometimes I wait till 4am to wake up and write because my brain seems to lock in a lot better at that time for some reason. So whenever I write I try to do it in the am, but for a feature I sometimes don’t have that option. I’m also able to just tap in when I really need to but for my own I’ll take more time.

TheDRSAlien

What artist(s) would you like to collaborate with? I few artists I would like to collab with would be Usher, Chris Brown, Kid Ink, Lil Wayne, Ace Hood, Wiz Khalifa, Russ, Tory Lanez, Stella StandingBear, Future, Bow Wow, 50 Cent, Big Sean, & Drake and my reason is because I grew up listening so some of these artist and I also feel like we have a similar sound so to make a track together would be some crazy work.

If you could open a show for any artist who would it be? I would really love to open for Chris Brown but any of those artist I named I’ll go for as well.

TheDRSAlien

Shifting Gears

What is one message you would give to your supporters?

My message to my supporters would be to be patient, keep on believing even when things get hard, enjoy the journey, stay as focused as you possibly can, slow motion is better than no motion, stay true to who your are and always keep God first.

What is the most useless talent you have?

The most useless talent I have would be the fact I can flip my eyelids out and can touch my nose with my tongue lol.

What would you be doing right now, if you weren’t doing music?

If I wasn’t doing music I would be a Barber/Entrepreneur.

Who are some artists you admire and why?  I admire artist who knew how to make it in the industry without a label and still seen major success. Being independent I know how hard it can be and the fact they made it happen is inspiring. Even those that did sign but were able to get out at the end and do their own thing. Take Russ & Tory Lanez for example, even Chris Brown did it and he was damn near blackballed but still selling out arenas till this day.

TheDRSAlien

I tell myself all the time to just take life slow and keep it all in God’s timing because only he knows what’s next for me. I can’t fight the process so enjoy the journey.

TheDRSAlien

New Music Incoming

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

To stop encouraging murder music and women degrading themselves to be the top sellers and bring back artists who really have art/talent.

You released new music this year! Tell us about the new project.

So my single “Act Now” was produced by Cor Mill (one of my favorite producers) and engineered by my bro (homie) Hector aka H and dropped it in 2024. This song is meant for you to pop out with that boss energy and show the world you the one and this is how you act, or even having fun with your friends at any event. A very high energizing record you can play at anytime anywhere.

What’s next for you, where would you like to see yourself in the next year?

What’s next for me is to continue to stay consistent with my catalog and start putting some shows together and hit the road.

Judge Denies Georgia’s Attempt to Revoke Young Thug’s Probation

Young Thug Scores Legal Victory as Judge Denies Probation Revocation Attempt

In a major development in Young Thug’s ongoing legal saga, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker has ruled against the state of Georgia’s motion to revoke the rapper’s probation. The attempt came after the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office accused Thug of violating the terms of his probation through social media posts targeting law enforcement officials.

Young Thug Avoids Probation Revocation After Court Ruling

Young Thug just scored a major legal win. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker denied the state of Georgia’s request to revoke the rapper’s probation, pushing back against claims of online threats and intimidation.

Why Prosecutors Wanted Thug Back in Jail

On April 2, 2025, the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office accused Young Thug of breaking probation rules. Their argument centered on posts he made targeting Investigator Marissa Viverito of the Atlanta Police Department.

In one post, Thug shared a photo of Viverito with the caption, “biggest liar in the DA office.” Another reportedly read, “All my homies hate Viverito.”

Prosecutors said those posts led to Viverito’s home address, and even her parents’ address, being leaked online. They also claimed one message encouraged followers to “pull up on her mama crib.” Another post allegedly threatened District Attorney Fani Willis.

Judge Paige Reese Whitaker Says No

After reviewing both sides, Judge Whitaker ruled in Thug’s favor. She declined to revoke probation based on the evidence presented.

“The Court declines to revoke Defendant’s probation based on the violation asserted,” Whitaker wrote in her decision on April 3, 2025.

Young Thug Responds Online

Thug quickly responded on X (formerly Twitter) and denied all accusations of making threats.

“I don’t make threats to people. I’m a good person,” he wrote. “I would never condone or participate in threatening anyone. I’m all about peace and love.”

He maintained that his words expressed frustration, not threats.

Recap of Thug’s 2024 Plea Deal

Back in October 2024, Young Thug took a plea deal in a major RICO case. He received a 40-year sentence, with five years counted as time served and 15 years of probation.

To stay out of prison, Thug must follow strict rules, including avoiding posts that could be seen as threatening or inciting violence.

What’s Next in the Case?

Although Judge Whitaker sided with Thug this time, the DA’s office may continue pushing forward. More legal action could follow if new issues come up.

This case continues to raise questions about free speech, probation limits, and celebrity accountability.

J Menace “Still Dreaming”: A Testament to Authenticity, Hustle & Growth [ALBUM REVIEW]

J Menace

Hip-hop has always been about storytelling, and few do it as authentically as Chicago’s own J Menace. With his latest project, Still Dreaming, he solidifies his place as a force in the game, delivering a raw and deeply personal collection of tracks. Known for his gritty lyricism, introspective storytelling, and ability to blend street wisdom with emotional depth, Menace takes listeners on a journey through his struggles, victories, and unwavering ambition.

More than just an album, Still Dreaming serves as a memoir, an unfiltered look into his experiences. “I only speak to what I’ve been through and/or going through,” he explains. “All my music is just different shades and experiences of my personal life.”

Adding to his momentum, J Menace has been recognized for his electrifying stage presence, winning Best Live Performer at the 312 Music Awards 2025. His ability to captivate an audience, deliver high-energy performances, and bring raw emotion to the stage proves why he’s one of Chicago’s most exciting acts.

J Menace

The Role of Music in J Menace’s Life

For J Menace, music is more than entertainment—it’s expression, therapy, and a reflection of life itself. While he believes hip-hop has lost some of its original intent, his goal remains clear: “The role, in my opinion, is to express your own artistic view in this thing we call life.”

Balancing artistic integrity with commercial appeal is no easy task, but he finds a way to stay relevant while keeping his music deeply personal. “Everything from beat selection to cadence—I stay in tune with what’s current. But my subject matter is always personal to me. So I’m always current but authentic.”

Above all, Menace wants to remind the world: “Rap ain’t dead. Art ain’t dead. Authenticity is real. You can be you and still be dope.”

Track-by-Track Highlights: The Sound of Still Dreaming

  1. Outside Again – A powerful opener with assertive bars and menacing production. Menace makes it clear that he’s here to stay.
  2. Drum – A hard-hitting, bass-heavy track that cements his street-certified status.
  3. Now That We Up – A triumphant anthem celebrating resilience and success.
  4. Switches – One of the grittiest tracks, filled with aggressive energy and commanding lyricism.
  5. My Momma Loves Me – A deeply personal track that reflects on family, love, and sacrifice.
  6. Stand On It – A bold anthem about loyalty and integrity with a heavy-hitting beat.
  7. Safe – A moody, introspective track exploring vulnerability and survival.
  8. What’s To It – A laid-back, confident banger with smooth flows and clever wordplay.
  9. Shine ft. Easy O’Hare – A melodic, radio-ready track with replay value.
  10. Told Em – A high-energy, boastful track with an aggressive flow.
  11. Warrior ft. Troche – A raw, defiant anthem with intense performances.
  12. Englewood ft. Aboog Carter – A soulful tribute to J Menace’s roots.
  13. Until We Meet Again – An emotional, reflective closer dedicated to lost loved ones.
  14. Bonus Track – A surprise closer that ends the project with energy and creativity.

The Creative Process & Emotional Depth

J Menace’s creative process is unconventional yet deeply personal. “I don’t write my music per se. I freestyle and record it on my phone,” he reveals. “I don’t write it down until I’m ready to record. I lock in on a beat or topic and go until I feel I’m done.”

One of the most emotionally charged tracks, Until We Meet Again, serves as a therapeutic outlet for his grief. “It’s a letter to the people closest to me that have passed. I felt like that helped/helps me through my grieving process.”

How J Menace Defines Success

For Menace, success isn’t just about fame or streaming numbers—it’s about impact. “Do people appreciate your work? Do you make money? Are you satisfied with your work? Do you work on your craft?” he asks. By those standards, Still Dreaming is already a win.

Unlike many artists, he welcomes criticism. “I welcome criticism more than praise because it helps me be better,” he says. “Just because it’s personal doesn’t mean it’s good or your best. At the end of the day, the consumer matters as well.”

Final Verdict: Still Dreaming is a Must-Listen

Still Dreaming is J Menace’s most well-rounded and authentic project to date. It captures both the raw realities of street life and the emotional complexities of personal growth. The collaborations with Easy O’Hare, Troche, and Aboog Carter add variety, while Menace’s solo tracks showcase his sharp lyricism and commanding presence.

The production is polished and dynamic, perfectly complementing Menace’s storytelling. Whether delivering aggressive street anthems or introspective reflections, Still Dreaming proves that real hip-hop is alive and thriving.
