How far are you willing to go to get the man you think you deserve? FLIP SIDE: Are you willing to stay and forgive a man who has cheated on you?
Uh, uh, uh…SMH, TTBS, and all of those other texting euphemisms we as society use when trying to describe a sticky situation. Meet George, Marie, and Karen. Three people who are in one heck of a love triangle. George and Marie are in a wonderful marriage that includes three children, the mansion on the hill, substantial income, and no type of problems. He is a bank manager and Marie is a school teacher. In walks Karen – hired by George as a teller for the bank. He attempts to avoid what he calls her “naïve seduction of him”, but then eventually pursues her. But why risk all what he has at home in order to get some STRANGE? Why cheat if he has no problems with wifey? Is it because it is fun? Of course he is having fun and getting super comfy when he is not handling his biz at the house! But just when he gets too comfy in his infidelity, that is when things get out of control. Marie finds out and confronts him, not Karen…but for some reason Karen wants to confront Marie….
Set in beautiful Jamaica-mon and incorporating the traditions of the island, this short and quick read was well put together and the author really breaks down the feelings of the characters and the answer to the “why” question.
